Great customer service, amazing variety of plants. It's very clean and organized.

This is my favorite nursery in the Bay, and I'll travel far out of the way to visit. Great selection of planters and well-curated variety of everything else I need to keep growing my houseplant collection.

Love summer winds a lot. However I'd be weary of the indoor plants. The last time I got an indoor plant from them was 4 years ago and it thrived until a roommate killed it. But I just went back 6 days ago and got a ctenanthe lubbersiana (a Never Never prayer plant). I had noticed the overwatering on all the indoor plants but thought I'll cut back on it and turn up the humidity. Turns out it has extensive root rot, almost the whole $40 plant is dying. When I called asking for advice as I'd never had a plant with such rot, he said to cut back on watering. They have really wonderful employees when you go in. Great outdoor plants, pot, and succulents. Just make sure to really get into the roots at the store on finicky indoor plants to see if any damage is manageable/ able to be saved. Just one star knocked as the many other plants I've had from them have done well.

Nice nursery. Wish they would carry some more rare plants. Some prices were a little high.

Sorry, I haven't seen any plans in the near future for mulch to go on sale.
Partly, yes. They would tell you when to plant your new flower how to water it and what chemicals to use. Also they could recommend you a right color choice. However I would recommend ask all these questions to the old white gentleman who knows all these things better than other staff.
Their stock changes seasonally you could try calling, or might need to just go look. I bought single impatiens in a 6 pack recently.
You should give them a call to see if they are in stock. If not Yamagami's could be an alternate option.
Yes, they do
I believe they have a 30 day return policy, be sure to have your receipt.
We aren't at this time but would like to continue the service in the near future. We offer home delivery through our SummerWinds Boutique and as John suggested (thank you John!) - we are allowing a number of customers in our nursery to shop.
We do! We sell them in-store and online at our website at: https://summerwindsnursery.com/gift-cards
They are!
I know they have roses. Not sure what kind.
Yes. They also sell plenty of California native plants (like ceonothus) that attract hummingbirds and provide a more sustainable, nutritious meal than sugary water.
Usually they have a wide variety of vegetables for sale.
