Wasn't expecting tacos be good from a place called Zach's, I don't know any Mexicans named Zach lol... Never the less the food was very good although the tortillas for the tacos I felt could have been left on the griddle a little longer. Everyone in our group enjoyed what they ordered. Would buy again. CASH ONLY!

Ran into someone that said how awesome this place is. Here is my take from a first timer. I feel like the ingredients are of good quality. I would eat here again and probably enjoy it. I had a chicken burrito that was huge. However it did lack flavor. I did get some salsa which helped. The habanero salsa was brown and watery. Kind of odd. My wife had the bang bang tacos which I tasted and they were really good. My overall take is it's decent quality food but nothing great other than that. If you want authentic Mexican food this isn't the place either. My take on the menu items are its more of a modern American twist on Mexican food. Good quality but not as hype as some of the other reviews. I'm a huge Mexican food lover and went here just because my wife found it on maps when at the crossings. I can't way I was disappointed but I wasn't blow away either.

This spot is a must for anyone in the area who even remotely enjoys Mexican (plus the empanadas rival most of the NYC empanadas I've enjoyed over the years; crisp spiced crusts were the highlight)!! Note: Cash Only! (There is an ATM) It's a super casual, groovy space (the "make tacos not war" neon sign says it all) with orders on one side and "pick-up" on the other. A few picnic tables and two wicker cafe tables--not really set up for a long stay (or for inclement weather). But don't let that stop you! The food... The tacos were flavorful (we had the Tres Beans-- fantastic vegetarian option!!) With the traditional corn style wrapper and sweet pickled cabbage, the sweet mild tomatillo salsa added flavor punch. 🌮 And tried the chili -- it had a nice kick, but not overwhelming. A nice bowl sized portion with queso fresco on top. 🥣 My husband devoured his burrito 🌯 And my 5 year old ate the *entire* quesadilla! All four generously cheesy sliced. And he said "It was so yummy!" Note: I'm not sure if there is restroom access here?

I got the *Chicken and Pork tacos* at $4 per taco. Tasted amazing. I felt the chicken was better. Tried the green and mildly spicy sauce. Both were not spicy but tasty. *No dine-in*. Only pickup or Togo. This is a *cash-only* place. They had 10% compulsory gratuity for amounts higher than $10 which was strange. Highly recommend this place.

They have changed the inside set up so that only one person can enter at a time. They use a speaker to call outside to people waiting. You MUST call ahead to order. If you have not, there's a sign outside to call ahead and order instead of entering to order. Entering is only for pick up. There are no visible condiments either.
