Nice small art deco theater with some basic architectural elements on the ceiling and walls. Wonderful space for music as the sound is quite good for a small venue and the seating is comfortable. They have a small concession stand with popcorn and candy near the entrance. A small bar is tucked away under the middle of the lobby with draft beers for 9 dollars and cocktails starting at 13 and up. There are several reasonably priced parking structures within walking distance. It's not the fanciest theater but it is nice place to see a show or movie.

Historic theater on K Street with beautiful art deco details. It's a great place to see a show, movie or theater. There is also a bar and concessions inside. A great night out with lots to see and do on K Street!

My first visit to this wonderful old Art Deco theatre. I'm embarrassed as I've lived 6 blocks from it for 6 years and I've been by it a hundred times at least either on my bike or on Lite Rail. It was a real honour to see two American music legends in John Hiatt & Jerry Douglas and his brilliant band. Fantastic show They don't come this way too often!

Incredible place! The acoustics are very loud but a great venue! Wynonna was the fantastic! Pnlybreal downdall is.. The bathrooms need a remodel, and the area is a little sketchy but still worth the trip! Go to Rick's Dessert Diner after, they are open until 1am! The parking is a little difficult but worth it!

Yeah, when I saw Selena it was BURNING up in the theater. It was late July and the theater was packed! But when I went to see West Side Story in August, it was nice and cool. So I don't know what's up.
They're the only theater in the area that still has 35mm equipment. Shame they don't promote that fact or even say when they're showing it. I've heard a number of their recent movies have been on Blu-Ray, not going out to a theater for that. I'd even volunteer to run the films for them.
Keep them in a dark place in an envelope
Pretty sure you can just check in at the box office
It's an old building but we were comfortable even though it was hot outside
All ages
What hotels are near by ?
Only if it's on film. Otherwise I'll watch it at home.
Were you in the balcony?
They provide ADA access to seating
Had a wonderful time, no rats in sight.
Leg space is non existent if your tall. I'm 6'6 and the seating is not great. I'd choose an isle so he can not be folded like a pretzel
They have a concession stand with minor snacks and drinks. The sunken area between the theater doors usually sells local beer and wine if you're there for a concert.
They have 2 bar options. 1, they have a small bar with a limited selection within the theatre itself. 2, they have a complete full bar down stairs (Empress Tavern), which shares an indoor entrance to the Crest itself. There's not a drink that they won't have.
Last two times we went it was just general seating. Try and call the CREST
Still there got some 1970 -1972
Yes absolutely Its like going to the old time movie theater. Not a bad seat in the house. The people seating next to us had small children. They sell snack and popcorn.
If you exercise proper concealment measures you don't need a policy
Yes, there is a parking lot in 10th st.
I think you can
I think that would depend on what is being performed or shown.
Capital garage, 10th and L st
Yes, however... I have shown up to purchase at the door and its been sold out when i arrive :( so i dont do that anymore
My cousin is a big guy and went to the crest for a concert. He fit fne. Hes 5'11 300lbs. Hope that helps
Call and speak with an event coordinator.
Yes, hit the Box Office.
No. I don't think they do refunds.
Call the box office
It's all seating. There is almost 1000 seats that go almost straight up like a stadium. Stage is at the very front at the center.
