They have been very kind at heartbreaking moments of loss with long time companions. Reasonable prices for cremation. Recently had an euthanasia that needed to be done urgently, & even though it was near closing time for them, they told me to come on in. (My regular vet was gone on emergency as well as 2 other clinics) They have done 2 cremation for me & I received back my pets within a week. And at a fraction of cost compared to the private vet clinics.

Were told the puppy could be adopted that day , We were so happy until it came to take him home then my landlord had to be called and the puppy needed shots so we called every single day then they say they called us several times and and had to throw our application away yet i called EVERYDAY. i thought i was doing the right thing by saving a dog, but it didnt feel like it, felt like a courtroom that judged me on my looks, I am going to just buy one out of the paper , i bet they dont treat me that way, that was just wrong, i called EVERYDAY so how can a 24 hour application run out EVERYDAY

I can only speak of my experience. I rescued a medium Pit Bull Mix from Lake County Animal Control. My Lucy is the perfect dog. She was trained, is the right size to walk and snuggle with. Has the right energy level. Have extra money in your budget for food, licensing, nail trims. Having a dog is such a gift and so glad I rescued her from the streets and a hard cold cage. The staff at Lake County Animal Control are good people who do a fantastic job. I can't thank them enough for taking such good care of these animals. Their cages are clean, they get fed, and vaccinations. They do need donations. If able please donate money to Lake County Animal Control.
Call Animal Control while the dog is tied up and yelping so they can cone out and hear it.
I know they have a leash law but I don't know about an owner responsibilities for pitbulls in general
You should go straight down to their office. Its at 4949 Hellbush Dr, Lakeport, Ca
However if you need to trap it and get rid of it and it take a cat or Reckon Cade's along cage with a trip on it attached to a bowl of cat food it will go in trip the door but make sure you check it daily because they might starve to death. Once you have trapped it pick it up and take it out to Cobb Mountain or some country where you think they will enjoy and let him out... O of course you can skin him and make a coonskin hat like Daniel Boone..ha ha But if you do not want to get any of the spray stink on you take a plastic waterproof tarp and throw it over it then hang on to the handle and don't put it inside your car but on the bed of a truck then you take it let the door out and run until it gets out

Sometimes. You have to call and ask. Depends on how many they have, and if a rescue is coming soon to pull animals. Try Anderson Valley Cat Rescue, Jameson Rescue Ranch, and Wine Country Animal Lovers.
