Papa's Taverna/Ghilardi's Marina/now Lakeville Landing is having a renaissance and we are thrilled! Bit by bit it is coming back from it's former decrepit self as we knew it in the 90s. Quaint, and a great place to canoe to from downtown Petaluma, new deck for picnicking, small ramp, new docks, and more to come, the people are very welcoming. We didn't realize, though, that there is a $2 fee and I only just saw this on the other reviews. So, since we've picnicked there twice with our canoe, we already owe $4 and promise to pay next time, or next time my way down on Lakeville I'll drop it off. Thank you!

Quiet area, right off Lakeville Highway. There is a newer dock you can use, or a small boat ramp. I was kayaking and it was windy, so I approached using the ramp. Warning: the surface under the water is super slippery!

I have no idea. We're paddling most of the time except a half hour to 45 minute lunch.
Does leon lahargue still alive he is the one that made that mermaid on the dock .I remember when he brought it to the marina and put it up ....
