I stopped by this 55 year old diner today prior to leaving Atlantic City. The service was so fast that I just blinked and my food was ready. I ordered the pancakes with a side of bacon and everything tasted good. I just found it odd that they used paper plates/cups and plastic utentils. I know some places adopted this way of service because of COVID, but I don't know if this diner served everything this way prior to the pandemic. The overall appearance seems to need a bit of work, but the place was clean. Prices on the menu are very reasonable. I don't understand why other reviews I have read are saying otherwise. Another plus is that they make a really good cup of coffee. If you are looking for a quick breakfast on the boardwalk, then this is a good place to go. I enjoyed my experience and I will stop in again the next time I visit the area.

Exactly what you would expect at your friend's diner. It is a nice breakfast spot on the boardwalk with a lot more than that. It has good food, a decent atmosphere, and it is quick in and quick out.

The food feels like it can be made at home better. Didn’t taste the best and there is no attention to quality. Waffle came out with many black specs in the batter and on the outside which indicated something wasn’t being cleaned. Tasted it and it left a bad aftertaste in my mouth almost like meat. I am vegetarian so I had my non-vegetarian girlfriend try it and she tasted meat as an aftertaste as well. After I told the waiter/manager that I didn’t like it very much he got defensive and said nothing can be wrong with it and refused to remove it from the bill.
