Very nice and flat hiking trail over the bay where you can enjoy the nature and watch a lot of birds. The view at the sunset is amazing, but you have to enter the parking before closing hours. Make sure to check the open trails since some trails are closed due to construction work.

A beautiful place to take a scroll and enjoy the scenic views. The trail is mostly flat with no shades. I went on a weekend with nice weather. There was little wind and the park was surprisingly empty. On a good weather day, the salt pond has beautiful refraction and reflection. The water presents a dreamy layer of many shades of red/pink/orange and the still water reflects the mountains like a mirror.

The spot is really quite cool, but it could do with some additional clarity around the walking paths that go around the ponds. While the park itself is very small it opens into probably 20 miles worth of trails, some of which have fallen into the ponds and some that are under construction. We walked about 4 miles when we realized the final mile of our loop was under repair and not accessible, which was a big bummer. Cool area tho and we got our steps in.

One of my favorite parks for biking and walking. The parking lot is busy during the weekend when weather is good. There’s a restroom next to the parking lot. As of Jan 8, 2022, the road is blocked at some point (see the red arrow on my photo please) so you are unable to pass it. Planning ahead accordingly.

No, they don't. They pretend to, but dogs are not allowed outside the parking lot.
Pretty sure the park closes at dark anyway never had a problem when I was there everybody was very nice if you have kids or dogs just keep an eye on them
8AM to Sunset arround the year. During summer it could be 9 PM or during fall it could be 5 PM. Don't wait until it's dark. They maintain official sunset time and close the gate. If you have to stay little more than park your car on the street before entering park.
There is no cost
No. Drones are not allowed in any County Parks or the adjacent federal wildlife refuge. Additionally the park is within 5 miles of both San Jose Airport and Moffett Airfield so further restrictions apply.
If u dont like the smell avoid warm or hot days. When its cold u can barely smell the duck poo 😂
Bike parking? Yes, by the bathroom. You can see pictures if you look at the Alviso Marina Park Restrooms.
Yes, if you've been vaccinated against certain microbial infection, effluenza, and mummifying dessication.
You cant fish from banks. But Kyle rents boats at the bait shop (Caboose) on Catherine st.. Great place for all info and supplies.
Plenty of great walking and biking paths. Never seen anyone bank fishing there.
No.
No, not in the park. You wouldn't want to eat fish out of a polluted S.F. Bay.
It has a bike trail and there is the coastline stretching out and boats are available for rent
Not in Alviso. If you have a boat you can launch from the County Marina and get to the Bay.
People do not fish in the Marina. People who go by boats out to the Bay can. I do not know whether a fishing license is required

No drones are allowed to fly in the park.
Hunting is prohibited in Alviso Marina County Park
2 Lots. 1 by the marins and 1 by the "park".
No there isn't it's just a great place to go to get a walk in the peace and quiet and look at the beautiful views
Depends on the route you take, can be 7 or 8 kilometres atleast if you wish
Go to the Don Edwards wildlife facility located on the other side of alviso for more in depth help
You can bike. No special paths
If you've got a boat... there's a boat ramp. Small outboard preferred. No pier fishing that I could see.
Yes you can, park opens at 8.
I go for the solitude and get back mind from this crazy world!
Yes. You can. There are plenty of parking space along the street right next to the park gate.
1177 Kern Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085 It looks like this is the nearest bike rental location.
