I have avoided dentist offices for 13 years after a string of bad childhood experiences. After my first appointment Dr. Lavi told me I would need to have a procedure and he was very understanding. I was weirdly expecting him to be annoyed by the state of my dental health. My only regret of this experience is that I didn't come sooner. He removed the infected tooth as well as a discolored tooth in the front that I've been embarrassed about for years. And if his positive manner isn't enough, Ora the dental assistant / receptionist is a god send! She worked with me on my payments (I didn't have insurance) and called to make sure I was okay Thank you so much, I can't say enough positive things about this place. I absolutely love it. Which is not something I thought I would EVER say about a Dentist Office!

WOW! I moved to California 3 years ago from Ohio and never looked for a dentist before now. I used to go every 6 months back in Ohio but that was because I was comfortable with my original dentist despite the fact that I just do not like dentists offices! All the noises of drills and suction just creeped me out. However, recently I woke up not being able to open my mouth and had a huge pain on my bottom right wisdom tooth. Therefore, I had to suck it up and look for a dentist and that is when I came across Dr. Lavi's practice. My first impression when I walked in was that it was so clean! Then immediately I was greeted my Sandra at the front desk and the warming atmosphere calmed my nerves without a doubt. My overall experience at Dr. Lavi's office was the best I have ever had and they have now become my goto dentist. Long story short, I had to have my right top and bottom wisdom tooth removed and I will be going back to remove my left ones. The staff was extremely gentle and reassuring that everything would be ok. The thing I am most worried about was pain, however when Dr. Lavi came in for the teeth removal, he was so patient with my nerves and made the experience very comfortable. He constantly asked if I was okay and before proceeding with each step he explained to me what was being done so that I knew exactly was was going on inside my mouth. Of course the drills came out but the warming experience definitely over powered the sounds and I honestly can say that I am looking forward to going back :) !! P.S. when I went in for a cleaning and a post-op check up, I got the best teeth cleaning ever! The lady had me walking out of that office ready to smile at everyone!
