Very quiet place to rest. Outstanding place for kids to play in a safe environment. Host was very helpful during our stay. Very close to the town with a rich history.

Needed a little break in the shade after riding small trains all afternoon in Skykomish. Searched for a nearby park and decided to stop on in. It was confusing at first entry as the road is unmarked dirt. The highway sign indicates threes only a T with a road on the opposite side. There's no indication it's a park until you're in the forest. Even then it's surrounded by private property signs, and then we still thought we might be the wrong place with all the camping signs. Once we got used to the idea that this is both, we got more comfortable. We were them pleasantly surprised with a small playground and public bathroom. The river was a treat. Some nice soft sand next to the cold, clear river water. We played in the water for a bit after a quick break for the kids on the slides and swings.

Very beautiful place to visit but very dangerous for anyone to sleep. I'll never go back because of the lack of up keep on there tree's. Enough said about that. Other than that it's beautiful and the people working there are awesome and top notch. Always be aware of your surroundings.
