Always a great time at Lumberjaxes Millvale! Our coaches were great and really pumped everyone up for the competition. The bartender was friendly and made some good drinks. They let us bring in pizza from Iron Born (right around the corner) and had a very nice time. This is the 3rd time I've been here for a group gathering and they never disappoint. Great job Lumberjaxes!

There were 6 of us in our group, 5 of which have never done ax throwing. Our coach was Tommy and I will say he was truly amazing he kept it exciting while we were there. We all had so much fun and will definitely be back

Organized a company event for axe throwing. Had a fabulous time. Way more exciting than I thought. Tournament style provide 2 1/2 hours of throwing time. Coaches were fantastic. Brought in our own pizza and used the well stocked beer. Next visit my company us going to give a try at curling. Will be visiting with my family/friends for a personal visit as well.

1. Around 1.25 lbs, standard hatchets. Axes are used for tie-breakers and are around 3-4 lbs I believe. 2. Around 15ft. 3. In groups, minimum of 6 peoole, its $35 per person for around 2.5hr. Walk-ins are $20/h
Kirk I do throw axes there and being in the elevator business I can tell you the entire facility is handicap accessible. Even the area you would throw axes from would accommodate a wheelchair with plenty of room. Everyone who wants to throw axes has to sign a waiver and I could honestly say nobody would discriminate from someone who is handicap to get that same fun experience. I would recommend calling in first just to make them aware of your situation so they could put you in the best lane possible and give you a coach who mill give you the most of the entire experience.
Their website has online reservations. I wouldnt risk it, it's a pretty popular place.
Kalhoon, thank you for reaching out. We do not currently allow outside axes into our facility unless you are a league member in one of our facilities. Great question
I didn't see any alcohol to buy so byob, but Draai Laag and Grist House are within walking distance.
