I really used to love going here, but since the pandemic started things don't seem quite the same. The biggest issue I have had was recently hunting down a particular book. HPB has it in stock but they are charging $20 for a $10 dollar book. I asked the cashier about the pricing, because I wanted to make sure it wasn't a special edition or something along those lines (which would make sense for the additional cost). They responded "it is priced as marked, that was the price it was going for when it came in and we checked it against what it was selling for on ebay. We also don't update the pricing often". Now, I'm not sure how accurate those statements are but they work there, not me. I ended up lucking out and found a brand new copy at target on sale for $6. The other frustrating thing is, if you order online you are charged shipping per item regardless of the items coming from the same facility. I definitely understand charging shipping, but if the used book sells for $5 and shipping is $4, and full retail is $10 for a brand new copy, I have no incentive to purchase from HPB. I just don't really understand their business strategy there. Apparently it's banking on someone not being an informed shopper.

Very clean and organized second hand bookstore. They also feature music collections, board games, toys, collectables and other electronics. They have nice sized music collection of CDs, records and other media. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I see that they also buy back books. Seems to be a very low rate as seeing some patrons leave or complain.

Disappointed in the price they gave me for the books-on-cd I brought in. The buyer said they are hard to get rid of, hence the low price. However, I know from shopping there before, they have a pretty fast changeover of their own books-on-cd...

Loved this place. This is a great place for a bibliophile. They have almost all the books and at very reasonable prices. The condition of the books can go from somewhere from average to brand new. You can also come and sell your books here. This is a great place at this day and age for people who like reading with paper than on a tablet

Go on line or make a visit to the store. if near you.
Yes Brenda, they have everything!! Great store, my favorite place besides the library.
Typically half the publisher's price, so it depends on the book. All books are very reasonably priced.
You can either call them, to see if the book is in stock, or visit the store. If you go in person, be sure to bring a mask, or they won't let you in.
Yes bring those to the store, better if you call them first to make sure. I brought some of my books also, very low offer but better than nothing. God bless!
If you mean video games, then yes.
This store has many many books. Its a great place and the owner is awesome. Im sure if he doesnt have the book your looking for, ,he can get it for you. Just ask :) Good Reading!!
Depends on the literature. The hardcore graphic novels will need some parental oversight if you look 12
Yes, they buy and sell DVD's
Yes they purchase all kinds of magazines ,books and movies, CD's. Call the store on Greenback for information on your specific items.
They have both on the shelf. Just like any comic shop, you can go in and look through their boxes of comics and see what that particular store has.
I've never taken in magazines myself so I cannot tell you of my dealings in this regard. That said, they do have a section of used / vintage magazines. I also don't know if they use a different criteria for buying magazines rather than books. You could call in advance to make sure they would be interested in them.
They have both new and used books. If you want to find out about specific titles before you go into the store I would recommend you give them a call.
I personally haven't seen them. But I'll check on my way home in about an hour.no drones
Pretty much. Certain hardbacks are more.
Sadly, I do not think they'll notice the Google maps question you asked. I weeks suggest you give them a call to check.
