Good prices on bedding and food for smaller animals. Cage and tank prices are really high tho so I would suggest thrifting a cage or tank.

The groomers are awesome. I have never had a bad experience with any of the Petco groomers. The only issue I have is that they are understaffed and I often have to wait a significant amount of time for someone to come to the desk when dropping off and picking up - but this is not the groomers fault. The work they do is awesome. My dog always returns happy, clean, and so shiny he glows!

Ashley in the grooming department was really sweet to my high anxiety dog. She was mindful of all his sensitivities and did a great job grooming him. I felt comfortable leaving him with her as I could see him passionate she was with my little guy. She has gained my returning business! Thanks!

Great choice for getting your pet food if you consistently buy the same size. They offer a deal on the app where every 8th bag is free!! Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. You can ask them questions, and receive help. They offer the ability to order online and ship to your home.

Livestock changes fairly quick. Try asking a department representative which day they typically receive new stock; then call in weekly -day of or day after new stock receipt. Alternatively, try asking the department representative if you can put in a special order; some stores are great with accommodating such requests.

I really don't know. I haven't adopt a puppy or cat there. I'm assuming you go in and fill out and application and pay the fee? Maybe. But you can also call the store and ask, that way you know what you need before you go there.

Stocks change frequently as do the prices and associated livestock sales. If you're looking for a particular breed, try calling around and ask different stores before making a trip in; most of the time you will get someone that at the very least has some idea as to which types are stocked in their particular store -they may even call around and track one down for you if you're lucky enough (they've done it with fish for me in the past, though their "fish-guy" here is a total boss).
PFFT, I DIG PETCO'S DOG BATH, IT SURE BEATS BATHING OUR BIG OL' DOG IN OUR BATH TUB. AND WE ALWAYS TAKE OUR OWN SPECIAL DOG SHAMPOO, TOWELS, ETC. OUR PITADOR HAS SKIN ALLERGIES SO WE HAVE TO BRING OUR OWN MEDICATED SHAMPOO. PLUS AFTER YOU BATHE YOUR 4-LEGGED HAIRY CHILD, YOU CAN USE THEIR HIGH POWERED BLOW DRYER. SO 2 THUMBS UP FOR PETCO!👍👍
