Had a abandoned, derelict vehicle parked in my neighborhood. Called the South Carolina Highway Patrol and a Trooper showed up in no time. He went onto explain to me what he could do and took care of business. This Trooper was very professional and polite. Even shook my hand. You hear often the negative from the public, about law enforcement, but let's not forget the tough and dangerous job they are in. Thank you for your help and professional support. Update: wouldn't you know that just after the Trooper left someone showed up and removed the abandoned vehicle. Thanks again.

I had a tire blowout on me in an area where I had no help and was a good distance from home. Patrolmen Casey Jones and Micha Chiaravalloti responded and were at my location within 10 minutes. My spare was flat as well so these guys did everything they could to assist me getting my spare aired up and back on the road. Both of them were very nice, funny and professional and went out of their way help me as much as possible. I want to thank them both and the SC Highway Patrol for doing what they did, I truly appreciate it.

I had the pleasure of being stopped today (not that I wanted to be stopped) in Myrtle Beach by Trooper Jones of the Highway Patrol. Trooper Jones was very professional, informative and courteous. I just felt with all the negative comments about law enforcement in the country today I would take the time to let his superiors know that he is a class act trooper.
