Paved walking trail, but was all ice during our visit. There's a lake nearby, but you need to bushwhack to get there. It's a missed opportunity not to have a path leading to at least a viewing area overlooking the lake. Don't miss the hidden path that cuts through the center of the trees for a nice walk, accessible not far from the parking lot.

Very nice trail with some steep hills. Not a bunch of shade so be aware on hot days. Sometimes the trail gets over grown and some of the trail gets washed out but it's very nice and needed for the area. The county can do a much better job taking care of it that's for sure. Especially with the revenue from the multiple wells on the CC property. Don't worry snow flakes, the well pad won't hurt you by walking near it.
