WHAT??!!! Open 24 hours … for takeout with mandatory 10% surcharge for take out containers. We have 3 dogs and were starving so we sat out front on the curb and ate poorly prepared food. During the middle of the meal a loudspeaker announces there is no loitering. Is it loitering if we just spent $30 on bad food. Fortunately it didn’t take us long since two sheriffs cars showed up as we were walking back to our car. Oh yeah, there were 3 employees and their friends sitting at the front booths eating and drinking, from the cups and utensils they have been there for hours. Ever tried to eat steak and sunny side up eggs out of a plastic plate with plastic silverware on a curb while being serenaded by the loudspeaker announcing you’re loitering? Don’t, just don’t stop at Waffle House.

Worst service I have ever had. Waffle houses in Ocala have all gone down hill. Went to the one on 40 last month food we got was cold. Then decided to try this one waited 10 minutes just to have order taken. Waiter brought over our bill half hour later and I asked if it was a joke. Last I knew people got food before the bill. He never put in our order. There was a min of 6 people on staff. I'm unacceptable. Us and 2 others walked because of this. Then when I said something he said he would and I quote " I will take care of your coffee today for you". In a tone as if he was doing us a favor. Will never go back again.

When I walked in, about 10 minutes until 8:00, they let me know that they were getting ready to shut the dining room because it was only the two of them. Half of the dining room was already shut down. Both ladies complained about their work schedule and amount of work they had to do pretty much the entirety of my visit. Great food but too much negative energy.
