There's two options for the experience I had. Either my issue was a non emergency and didn't require action, or they would have let me die because they're short staffed. I'm going to assume what I was worried about wasn't an emergency (it felt like it was, I only came when I couldn't bear my pain.) The other option would be that tonight I needed care and I left without it after endless hours of not being seen.

Had a scary experience with a college-age kid. Everyone who cared for her from check in to all the techs were wonderful and calm and kind. Doc and nurse were superb. ERs can be iffy so this was as good as we could have ever asked for. Thank you!

Everyone was super nice and all, but I had lymphangitis and the doctor almost didn't even give me antibiotics. I had a red line coming from an infected and swollen blister on my ankle. He acted like it was no big deal, when I'm pretty sure if you let it go, it can become very serious. So why he would almost send me away without and antibiotics is beyond me...

The best experience I have ever had in an emergency room. Friendly staff and nurses, great attitude, and they took great care of me. While I hope not to go to an ER, if I had to I hope it's this one.

Yes, both University District and RiverBend Hospitals take Trillium insurance. However, it is best if you switch to PacificSource, because, after the month of March, the two hospitals will not be taking Trillium anymore.
