Great place to live, good staff, and communication is on par. Perfect distance from campus and all amenities are extremely useful. Madison and Diego have done more than enough to accommodate me to the highest degree. Overall fantastic place love the views!

Currently a grad student and one of my classmates lives at 109 tower, which is so convenient to be since it’s right across campus. I’ve studied there with some classmates before & it’s great! The apartment units are also setup nicely. The staff has been nice & welcoming

109 Tower is a great choice for FIU students. Located just across the campus...it's almost like on-campus living. Apartments are well furnished and designed with student life in mind. We like the fact that each floor has private room for group study

I was so excited to live here fall 2022 but me and my future roommates never got sent the lease until late March. By then, 109 towers was charging almost an extra $200 on top of the monthly rent we originally agreed upon, as it was later in the year. When we contacted them and told them that this price increase was unfair because we never had the chance to sign an earlier lease for a lower price due to us never being sent one, and mentioned the fact that we had contacted multiple times asking for a lease to be sent during that time period, they explained that there was not much they could do as the leases automatically send in their system. For whatever reason, all four of ours were never automatically sent. They didn’t really care that we never got it, and told us there was no way they could lower our rent to the previously agreed upon number that we signed on our guarantor contracts. We now have nowhere to live for our next school year as we cannot afford such a large increase and all the other housing nearby is full, and it is entirely because 109 Towers messed up on their part and is now refusing to acknowledge that mistake of theirs and fully rectify it. On top of this, the leasing manager was extremely rude to my mother, while she was speaking to him he would often look off to his side at me and make comments such as “see, she never listens!” or “I explained this to her, and she just doesn’t understand!” This happened multiple times during our conversation and I found it to be very unprofessional as my mother was only trying to make sure I would not be homeless. These comments were pointless and did nothing but aggravate all parties involved. If you are thinking of applying to lease here, I would not recommend it. Although it is a small chance, this could have happened to anyone as it did to me and my three other friends. It is not a chance you want to risk, we are homeless for next year.
