NOT HAPPY and DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! 2nd update: I still have not heard back from this company! But seems they can find the time to answer google reviews. Respond to owners comment! I provided any information that was requested. And there was nothing to hide. About the piano you are totally wrong! It is a Yamaha upright. I attached a photo of the piano! A Yamaha m1 upright!!! Again I have nothing to hide! But when you are not contacting me to resolve the issue after so many phone calls and emails, seems you are the one hiding! You also do not seem to care that my furniture has been damaged! Great and professional customer care and service!!!!!!! ******** Update: almost a month later! I’ve been trying to contact this company to resolve the issue, I’m not getting any response! They keep directing me to voice mail. I’ve been told owner has been on vacation for past 3 weeks!! ———————— I booked the service 2 weeks ahead of time with a quote they provided. 3 days before move I was charged $200.00. I called asking about this charge that had been made to my account without informing me! They told me it was for my work in the afternoon! I told them I’ve not had any services yet! And it will be in 3 days. She mentioned my address and it was the wrong address. After some checking she said she will refund! Day of move we had everything packed and 85% of items in boxes in living room. They took 3 hours to load a 2 bedroom with minimal items. We paid extra for piano move and they basically had no idea how to prepare and move a piano! My husband had to guide them into how to do it. Took them 3 hours to get to Irvine from LA, although map was 2 hours! Unloading took 1 hour!! They were obviously going slow to increase the hours! At the end they came up with a bill nearly $600 more than the quote! We were honestly in shock. We are in a tight budget and planned on the quote being correct or maybe 100 over! But 600??? I’ve been trying to contact them for a week and they keep telling me to wait. Also no response to any of my emails!!! Also my dining table leg was broken and there was a screw mounted into my desk!!! I recommended them to two of my friends because of the price but let them know about my experience. I’ve moved several times before but was not happy with this move at all!!

I got a great price for my move, and was even offered an extra mover for free because they weren't able to come at the time I had originally asked for. The movers came early, which was great. They packed and unpacked everything super carefully and fast, and did a great job reassembling my furniture! They were nice and respectful. Would definitely recommend!

I had a great experience with Silver Star Movers. Their customer service was wonderful, they gave me a good price for my move from Cleveland, OH to Billings, MT. A move like this feels overwhelming but they walked me through the entire process and explained how everything would take place. I felt like I knew what was going on and what to expect. When my belongings arrived, the movers were very professional and placed the items in the designated rooms (as I had the boxes labeled) - usually they just stack them up against a wall. It was such a relief having this move handled by Silver Star, I will definitely recommend them and I will use them if I have to move again.
