I went in for a trim, dead ends and whatnot. I did ask her to put in a little bit of layers which was on me, I typically don't. But they're bad lol. I'm probably going to have to get a bob, which is okay I look cute in a bob. But my biggest issue was the cigarette smoke. She just came inside from smoking a cigarette and it was awful. Smoking is a thing that people do, but you're having to touch me and put your hands in my hair and be in my face. It was so strong I was nauseated. I had to hold me breath for most of the cut.

Hi, Visited the Great Clips location at Teel and Main location inWest Frisco today 03/28. The wait time was 53 minutes and since I hadn’t checked online I decided to wait as I didn’t want to come back the next day. I waited for more than an hour and finally I was called for the hair cut . I was the last customer. The lady who started to comb my hair, said that I have knots and tangles and she doesn’t have time to detangle and do the haircut it as it was already 7pm and was getting late. I tried multiple times to detangle with the brush and help her cut. But she was not at all trying to detangle neither with the brush or detangler. All it would have taken is another 5 more minutes to spray the detangler and do the hair cut. But the lady was very very rude…and she kept on saying.. ‘I’m not cutting her hair.. there’s knots.. its alreday 7 pm’ she was not at all courteous. I’ve been waiting for more than hour for the haircut and finally was turned down very rudely.Never expected such a bad customer service .horrible horrible experience. I would also like to add that there was a courteous male hairstylist who was very helpful and willing to sort out the issue and offered 3 free haircuts in future since I was upset. But I’m never going to that location. I’ve never come across such a rude hairdresser anywhere else.. I just waited and wasted more than hour for getting insulted.

The lady that cut my hair today not only gave me very bad layers, gave me bangs that barely cover my forehead when I asked my hair to just be layered. When she cut the bangs she didn’t part the front hair so it’s a very uneven layer of bangs. The hair that frames the face on the sides doesn’t blend into the bangs either so it’s a 90 degree angle, bangs to face frame. She told me how boxed hair color is better than Henna (just false, henna is natural and good for your hair while boxed dye is chemicals), used a water spray mixture that has left my hair sticky and tangled and I have two weddings and a bachelorette trip coming up. Im so upset and the sad thing is, there’s nothing I can do to fix it, just have to wait for it to grow out. I’m horrified and upset and cannot stress enough that if you are looking to get layers or bangs you do not want to get it done at this location. The picture shows the no clean part for the bangs, I have hair falling on my face that should have been included in the bangs and other parts of hair that should not have been cut that short (not that any of it should have been cut that short when I asked for layers and not bangs) UPDATE: they told me to reach out and never got back to me. Several of my students have come to school upset by bad hair cuts hiding their head with hats or hoodies and confirmed it was done by the same lady as me at this location.

I had a great experience at this Great Clips. Tricia helped me out with a much overdue haircut, and she did a great job! The main reason that I felt inclined to leave a review, though, was because she let me come back in 15 minutes later because I had second thoughts about the length of the cut. She sat me back down to trim it some more, and was really nice about it! Although I recommend Tricia, it didn't seem like you could go wrong with any of the other employees either. They all seemed really nice.

Customers can check in online during the hours the salon is open. Online Check-In will not be available during the first five minutes a salon is scheduled to be open. This gives customers who are physically in the salon when it opens a chance to be checked in and have their names added to the wait list. We accept online check-in up until 30 minutes before closing time. You can still get a haircut at closing time, you just can't check in on the app.
