I don't know how it is as a visitor, but I won't be recommending anybody send their kids there to volunteer during their summer camps. There is no adult supervision and the kids that come (at least one in particular) are physically abusive to the teenage volunteers and nothing is done about it. If I were running this place then I would kick the abusive kids out so it doesn't ruin it for these kids who are volunteering their time to try and make a good experience for others. You can count on not getting any more support from my family for this place.

We were extremely grateful to have the Heritage Farmstead Museum as a venue for our Volunteer Appreciation Party - with over 100 attendees! The children enjoyed the animals & hayride. The covered outdoor dining area, tables, & chairs were very nice & comfortable. Unfortunately - the electricity was out (possibly due to the storm the night before) so the ceiling fans and decorative lights didn't work. But the June Texas heat was relatively mild - so all went well. Great place for group gatherings!

We celebrated my daughter's 7th Birthday in Cowgirl theme at the Heritage Farmstead Museum. A big shout out to the Birthday celebration coordinator Mary Ann, she was really nice to show us around n took every detail into account. My daughter n her friends really enjoyed on the farm, they played scavenger hunt n fed the chickens. We decorated the Pole Barn in the theme and all the kids had a blast.

Nice little farm museum with friendly staff. The kids will enjoy feeding the roaming chickens and seeing other farm animals. They also have other interactive things for the kids to do!
