Thankfully, they were able to make the needed repairs for a very reasonable rate and the fact that they will put that money towards a new machine in the event the old one is irreparable makes the choice much easier in these tough economic times. Took old Dyson to be repaired but fix was more than it was worth, so Meissner applied diagnostic fee $99.99 to the cost of new vacuum. Staff was very helpful & friendly. Conversation with repair person was informative. Over the phone we discussed my pink Dyson & my 1987 Rainbow vacuum which also needed repair. Steered me in the direction of a cordless Miele. Bought the new Miele, it works great and Meissner recycled Rainbow vacuum for me. I will always give Meissner's my vacuum cleaner business. Great service.
