We stopped by for dinner after a long day of sightseeing. Our waiter was very friendly and made great conversation with us, and was very attentive. Our food was delicious, I got the veal masala and it was excellent. My fiance got the short rib, and it was incredible. Definitely enjoyed the meal and would come back. Highly recommend.

The staff were friendly and found us a table rather quickly. They weren’t overly attentive perhaps because we were on the patio and often sitting with no water and had to wait quite a while for the cheque or to even order food. The portions were large for the mains but not super high quality. The crab cake appetizer was nice although there were a couple pieces of shell in it which isn’t the greatest. The chicken sandwich, perhaps a poor order was ok, not much flavour. The fries pretty standard and a bit over salted. The sole piccata was three pieces of, what looked like frozen baked fish floating in a plate of olive water. It was not very edible unfortunately. The side of fettuccine Alfredo was the best thing that we had. I’d recommend that. We mentioned the sole being lousy to our server and she was nice about it and told the manager who actually removed it from the bill and was pretty nice about it. Perhaps we didn’t order the best items.

The salmon and Milanese were delicious. The ravioli didn’t taste any different that most pastas in the area. The sangria was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. The food was good but maybe I expected the food to hit differently than other neighboring restaurants in the area, nothing had the kick I was expecting for the price that we payed.

Very good experience. Sat the bar with no wait! There are also some small tables in the bar area. People greeted me quickly and I had a drink in to time. . . Although I could tell they were hopping! Ordered the Bloody Joe . . .nice and spicy, but not overwhelming and a nice amount of vodka. Had the Crabcake Benedict, also very tasty. Eggs were poached just right! Potatoes were yummy. It tells you something if I am commenting on the potatoes, too. Fruit was just a garnish, but it was ripe . . .which does not always happen. Finally, I tried the espresso martini. Also good. Overall very good experience. I thought the pricing was good for a San Francisco icon!

I would think they have a pasta dish or eggplant parmigiana. Check the menu on line to verify.
I was there on a Wednesday evening and it was busy both inside or out.
Didn't have it
Hello! Reservations are recommended, but walk ins are accepted and will be added to the waitlist as needed.
The Vallejo garage works well. North Beach restaurant has a valet, but is also pricier with a limited menu.
I have shown my photo on my phone and that was acceptable proof of vaccination.
Yes!
Yes, Original Joe's do take reservation.
Smaller menu then what they normally carry
We can seat up to 6 people from different households at one table
Yes I believe that they do.
Hi Teresa -- We do accept large groups in both private or non-private settings. Yes they have a Saturday and Sunday brunch and if you go online you can see their menu
I think your experience doesn't represent this upscale restaurant Probably came in by someone other than this establishment.Sorry for your experience
Splendid idea...
Hi Linda! We do offer valet parking -- $8 at lunch / $12 at dinner / $20 for over 3 hours. We look forward to your next visit!
We parked on the street near the big park was a little walk but all the parking was taken right next door. But you can get lucky with some street parking.
Hi Florino -- We will not be open on Thanksgiving. We hope you can join us another time.
Not sure,? The reason being is that there's a lot of places u can park, go eat and then have your ticket validated and save some money. Also depends on what type of show.
