Beautiful country property close to town and ideal for the long term. Very few spaces insures privacy and overcrowding. Electric, sewer, water hookups. Reasonably priced. Rules are strictly enforced, so very important to read and understand them before signing on.

My life at Double Duty RV Ranch Park/Mimosa Valley RV Park. I moved in when they first opened in Feb 2009. In fact, we were living in another local RV park and were unhappy there. At that park atvs were constantly going and kids were playing under our slides. So we were ecstatic when you opened this park. It is so peaceful and quiet. Serene, if you will. I absolutely love it here. So much so that I have been here 11 and half years!! I don't have to worry about my camper or any of my stuff as this RV park is small/quaint and gated. I feel safe here and I feel safe leaving all my stuff here without worry. The park is small and we all know each other. There is not a lot of traffic coming in for overnight stays or even weekly stays. The park is a long-term only park so very little traffic comes in. We get to know our neighbors. I would call it an RV community rather than a typical RV park. Patti has been more than accommodating in all areas. She has gone above and beyond to help me if there were any problems. She has been more than reasonable on the rent/electric rates. I could not ask for a better land lady! Thank you for all that you do! As for my pets, I love walking my dog in this always beautiful setting. I can walk the winding drive with her and back up in the large grassy area surrounding the park, or just sit and relax at the big gazebo and let her just take things in. I enjoy sitting there too or out beside my camper. I have seen many deer and turkey while reflecting on my day and enjoying the sunsets in the beautiful country setting. I also ride my bike across the way over to black creek lake and hike trails. The location couldn't be better. I feel like I am way out in the country but I am just about 4 minutes/miles to historic town square! It's the perfect setting. We are not living right on the hwy like most of the parks are. Perfect! Patti, it makes me sad that people are more apt to leave a negative review than a positive one. It seems that people assume that not leaving a review means the service was great. So when you reached out to me about my life there, I am more than happy to input my two cents! I should have already done this. My apologies for not letting others know how much I have enjoyed my time there! Thank you!

I do not recommend this rv park to anyone. It is a good looking park but that is it. One of the ladies Patty is the most disrespectful hateful rude people I have ever met in my life. She does not like children and is extremely controlling and if there is something she does not like she will evect you. I was soooo glad to see someone else write a review that exposed what it is really like. It is in despite need of new owners. I would not recommend to ANYONE. I normally never wright negative reviews but this needs to get out there she acts like a want to be drill sergeant. And will yell at you and call u extremely uncalled for and cruel names if you do anything that she does not approve of. If u have any visitors or children or teenagers I would stay CLEAR of this place. If you are a single person and are looking for a rv park to be yelled at and controlled then this would be perfect for you..... If I could give it a negative 5 stars I would

Love living here. Going on my second year here. My favorite out of the places I've stayed. Visit with neighbors in the evening or just enjoy the views and peace and quite, or sit and watch/listen to the wild turkeys and watch deer!
