This is a very trustworthy gold dealer. Their main business is buying and selling gold coins, and buying used gold is their side business. They have very fancy and accurate test and weight equipment, and they test it in front of you. I had very good experiences with them. I very much appreciate their honesty, the high tech and their transparency. I highly recommend this store.

Great selection of coins as well as knowledge! Ill use this service again! Edit: just used this service again (9/22/2021) and loved it! Worked with Todd who was very knowledgeable and patient. He was able to appraise the gold i brought into store and and also educate me about the methods of testing gold. Good service and great staff

Preston has been wonderful to work with. Highly professional, knowledgeable and straightforward. Very pleased to do business with him and would recommend him highly to others. I believe he will be managing the new Walnut Creek location soon. The company is lucky to have him.

I have nothing but good things to say about Pacific. Prices for buying or selling gold are at market rates. The owner is more than accommodating. He has also scanned a couple of baht chains for me to test the percentage of gold. I would not hesitate to buy from or sell to him again. I have worked with several gold dealers in San Jose. I prefer Pacific.

Hello David, Yes, we buy gold, platinum and silver bullion and/or Jewelry. No need for an appointment, just come on down to the office and we'd be happy to help you.

I have a 2005 Order of Malta coin that is made of .999 silver and weighs 5 oz. I was wondering if you would be willing to buy this and, if so, how much it would be worth? Cheers

do you buy silver flatware? i have a set of 8 that i have never used

Pacific Precious Metals | Oct 6, 2021

Yes, as long as it's not silver plated. We will use our xrf to determine silver content. It's typically stamped 925 or Sterling if it is not plated. Bring it in and we can take a look, no appointment necessary. Thanks, Mike Wahlstrom

Do you guys buy paper cents

Pacific Precious Metals | Sep 1, 2020

We do not.

I have a few nickles coins with the Indian head and buffalo, but no dates on them.

Martha Maciel | Sep 1, 2020

I recommend selling them on eBay, but if they are very worn out, you will only get about 80 cents for each. We do not buy them since they don't have any precious metals in them. Hope that helps.

Just wondering if you guys buy 925 silver ?

Yes. It’s consideeed scrap silver as it will just get melted down but you do get paid based upon the scrap silver value. Is it a old flatware set?
