I hate to write this but the service was terrible. The young man wanted to clean a table before taking my order. The jollof rice was just colored with tomato sauce no onions peppers . The suya and the goat meat was good but the salad had too much dressing. I want them to succeed but I figured this is the only way. I want to come back.

I ordered the Jollof rice and chicken. It was too spicy for me but I was still able to enjoy my meal.

I really enjoyed my Jollof Rice and Chicken. The spices were just right and not overpowering. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Friendly and attentive service. Nothing fancy, just a nice place to go to enjoy a good meal.

I used to eat at Calabash when I lived in Alexandria and then I moved to Silver Spring and tried other Ghanaian food restaurants and Calabash was still the best. I recently had them cater a party I hosted for my Ghanaian husband and they were very accommodating for the menu I wanted and the punctuality of readiness the day-of the event. I loved broadening the food horizons of all of our party attendees who, most of, had never tried Ghanaian food and loved it! We ordered jollof, waakye, fried plantain and fish (pic attached- chicken was from elsewhere).
