They need to watch the dates in the dairy department. I was going to buy milk but it expired the next day. This is not the first time. There's times I go to the other Food Maxx on king Rd. They are more on top of their dates.

This grocery store is one of the cheapest price on this area. Multiple items like vegetables, fruits, meat (Tri tip) and shrimps are at lower price than whole sale stores like Costco…I shop here at least one a week, and never have parking problem. Also Bank of America ATM is inside, and long operation hours 6am to Midnight / 7-day a week I think most of employees are local, so please come to support local business and jobs I hope this store keeps open for years

Horrible hiring practices . beg for help but yet no one answers the phone . last we were in the Monterey one. 2 people ran the whole store . delana was the girls name . application online looks like Obama care package .. Nothing .. Good luck holding your business .

Had a really bad experience tonight with one of the ladies which was a supervisor I believe cuz she came to put the code in for my card that I was using because my cards cracked I have to do it manually so she comes up punches the number and she tells me you need to get yourself a new car cuz we're not going to be doing this for you all the time very disrespectful unprofessional even the cashier shows well that was rude so I might find another place to shop never had no problems there since I've been down here

Not that I am aware off. I know safeways does on Tuesday & Thursdays 6:00 am & Walmart is keeping their senior hours only on Tuesday 6:00 am, though walmart you have to wait in line before u go in. Safeway & Foodmxx don't.

YES they most certainly do carry tapioca. FoodMaxx carries both packaged tapioca (to make yourself) AND tapioca cups (already pre- made).
I have not had problems at the store, but they could often use more caahiers, as with mist stores these days. I think what they want, is just like what happened with self serve gas. They want us to do everything ourselves, and then charge more money than ever for the same goods. Let your cashier know they are valued, and always say thank you. Everybody needs to feel valued. It makes the world go round, as me and one casheir there, agreed, we do! People who work do make the world go round.
