Edit:upon reading other reviews, the customer service sucks for a lot of people Selection is great and service was great to everyone who didn’t look like me. If you are older and white, they offer to carry your bags, help you at the service counter, answer your questions. However, apparently if you’re a minority. You are not getting the same service. The guy at the checkout, Luis, was visibly impatient with me and even went so far as to tell me “I’m holding him up” when I apologized for taking up so much of his time he gestured and said, “we have other customers” I have never felt so unwelcome and out of place anywhere.

It is quite an expensive store, probably the only one I have see charging sometimes a $ or more per Lb for watermelon- which can then eventually cost you $15 for a watermelon. That is ridiculous. Everything seems to be more expensive in this store for the same brands including milk if you purchase anywhere else even compared to Safeway.

Everything a market should be! I moved down last year and was bummed about not having a Lunardi’s close by! I was really happy to discover that I still do. The only market worth going to in my opinion! Give yourself a treat and check it out!!
