Rosa was STELLAR! We had gone to 2 different print shops before fedex (they had better pricing), but both shops messed up our order (one even trimmed our names off despite showing it correctly in their digital proof, and then said there was nothing they could do it was a mechanical error). Long story short, our print job now became urgent and a rush job. Showed up 8am as soon as they opened, and were immediately directed to Rosa the print specialist. She heard us out and our previous issues, showed us how to share our file and gave us a printed proof. We went ahead and put in our order-- she said (and followed through!) That she would do it that day, because they had to be individually trimmed, but it would be ready for pick up the next business day as soon as they opened. Not only was it ready on time, all 200 prints looked identical to the proof she made! Amazing job, thank you Rosa!

I would not recommend this store for any printing, shipping, or packing. The self-service copiers work, in a technical sense, but they provide a limited range of service. The staff here is woefully incompetent, probably due to the going wage for entry-level professional services. (The wage regime in this country discourages skillful work.) Do not expect your order to be printed on time. Do not expect your package to be shipped without several dozen data entry errors. Do not expect much of anything. Unfortunately, nearby competitors are equally bad.

I really appreciate the manager and staff at this location. The are really fantastic, especially the manager. The one star is for the two self service copy machines that also do scans of photos and documents. Both machines malfunctioned while I was in the middle of a project. Time was wasted moving from one machine to the next and getting a failure notice from both. I highly recommend that FedEx parent company takes the time to come to this location and do a full diagnostic on the printing/scanning/copy machines and either fix them or replace them. FedEx needs to support its employees at this location. They cannot provide the excellent service they want to if their machines are dysfunctional or outdated.

So I just finished a 52 page document and I need to have it printed in a presentable manor for court. I have a Canon Pixma PRO 100 photo printer, and some other cheaper all in one Canon for documents right here at home. I needed something in between those however so I headed off to the local Kinko’s (because that’s what they’ll always be to me). We walk in to the location at 93 east San Carlos, and proceed to walk up to the counter. When I tell the employee I need to print a document, he ushers me off to the self serve printers I tried to protest saying I wanted to have a binding put on them, etc but we’re sent off to fumble our way through the process while the employee played on his phone. The results were worse than I could have accomplished without leaving the house. The paper was so thin that you could see right through it making it unreadable. I ask for a refund so I can find a location that has an employee that want’s to actually work and help a customer. The employee is about as capable at issuing a refund as he was at helping us in the beginning which is not at all. We settle on re-printing the document. He hands it back still see through and now printed single sided which the original one was done double sided. Of course he didn’t ask any questions, try to do any tests etc to know what we wanted or needed. The whole time his personal phone was ringing and when it did stop it was only long enough for the store phone to ring. Yes you could tell it was a personal call. I spent just over $100 and wasted 30 min not including travel time to end up with a worthless pile of paper, and only the knowledge I’m done using this location. Since we still have an upcoming court case and I still want a chance as re-cooping some money, we headed off to the next closest “Kinkos”. This time the location in The Alameda. Here we are greeted by Jazmin. She was able to get a name tag on this morning, so we were already one step ahead of the random kid working at the last spot. We explained to her what we wanted. Went over a couple of samples, and settled on a paper weight that would work. Now I have confidence that I have a set of 3 documents being printed that will be just what I asked for. If it were up to me I would fire the kid playing on his phone and hand the money to Jazmin. She seems to be at work to actually work, which is very much appreciated by those people walking in trying to pay for a service.
