A big hassle to get any warranties honored here at Capitol Toyota, they don't want to do it and they push the work to other Toyota dealers such as one at Stevens Creek that got angry when they found out. In particular, I'm speaking about the super white paint warranty or recall. They should be looked at by someone, reviews indicate they've probably been denying waitlist placements the entire year. The warranty service department staff dealing is terrible and difficult to get a hold of and I have never gotten a single call back and I've called a dozen times explaining what I'm calling for. I've opened a dealership case against Capitol and when I or representative gets a hold of someone on my behalf, it's always the manager is on vacation, manager is out on lunch, manager is not here today, manager is in a meeting. I say I understand and please call me back later. They never, and I've tried calling them back at different hours of the day and all days of the week. I stopped by the dealership to buy parts one day and found Vinnie the manager, he told me great things about he would get it done and I should expect a phone call from Rachel the next day to set up the warranty. But not before sending me out with a backhanded apology, very unprofessional. Of course the call never happened, he just told me that to get me to leave. It's over a month later, my paint is still peeled, they won't repair it under warranty, and my prior interaction with them prevents me from ever taking it to another dealer for warranty. No matter how willing I am to take it to another dealer, they even don't care to make that happen and free me from their system. I've been very patient, reasonable, and diligent about getting this warranty done and hate resorting to escalation but that's where anyone should prepare to end up with Capitol Toyota. Dealerships need to go away if the only distinguishing service they offer, warranty work, is the one they don't even want to do.

This is a Parts Department review. This was a little bit of a disappointment. They didn’t have the parts that we were looking for, but we had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to be helped. There were a few of us in line waiting for a representative but nobody was available behind the counter. We had to ask at least twice for the dealership staff to page somebody to come and help us. Once the folks were there, they were reasonably friendly and helpful, but the wait was just so bad. And, to top it off, they didn’t even have any good cars in the show room for us to look at while we waited. I know there are supply chain issues, but I have some cars for people to drill over at least.

They sadly didn't have the car I wanted which was posted on their website. However Steve Williams was super nice and tried to help me find something similar. He was super helpful and took the time to show me some great cars. I definitely recommend talking to Steve if you are interested in any car in their inventory.

My experience here was wonderful. Thanks to David the one who approached me upon arrival. He was so helpful and it was really nice experience. I have bought a few cars in my days and this experience was by far the best . He was amazing at customer service. Helped me take my things out of the rental I had and was really attentive. I appreciate the help and when I need another Vehicle I will come back to him . I told him I only had a limited time due to work . He managed to get me in and out in the time I had.
