The meat is high quality but I found high quality beef tenderloins at a different local butcher for almost less than half the price as the ones I picked up at Baron's. So it just isn't worth it for me. But if the other butcher is ever closed I suppose I will come here.

Good butchers and quality selection. Great service if you're polite and have a sense of humor. If you don't like the service then chances are YOU have neither of these things.

Best tasting, most fresh ground pork this side of the bay. 5% off every once in a while is nice too.

Good butcher, convenient location in Alameda Marketplace on Park St. Prices are high, even for the added convenience. The staff aren't always the most friendly either although it has gotten better.
