Terrible customer service. Felt like they didn’t want to figure out why my electric bill is costing more, asking me to pay them ridiculous amounts of money to come check it out, this is the type of company that as soon as they get your money, don’t bother assisting you with real help. Be careful with hidden fees and lack of care after the initial install

Be careful with the inaccurate quotes and terrible customer service AFTER they install and get your payment. My True Up last year was $3,526 and this year is now $7,893 and my monthly bills are now $359. I have been trying for 4 months to get someone out here to check my panels, and the customer rep continues to try and protect them as not liable and will not send anyone out. I am not blaming them, i just need to get customer support and service. She has told me it will cost money, but then wont tell me how much over the phone. I have asked numerous times to send someone out and i will pay. She finally sent me a quote for $75/hr, then retracted it and said $1k. Then she canceled that one as well. I am now $1,300 in additional fees by PG&E plus the $7,893 fees just for this year. When Sungrade was selling me, they were here every day, texting me every day and calling me every day. But now that i need help, they are impossible to get a hold of. Terrible customer service. Hands down the worst culture and CYA mentality vs customer centric culture i have experience. Be careful with hidden fees and lack of care after the initial install

I just want to say that Abraham Tenorio is a wonderful, talented and knowledgeable solar consultant. He was there every step of the way with all the many questions I had. He even came to over see the installation work to make sure everything was running smoothly. I greatly recommend this company and Abraham. You will not be disappointed..

Sungrade recently installed our solar system in June, right before our heavy bills from our pool used to come in. Jeff Lalich explained the process from start to finish, and we were very happy with our installation. Our PG&E bill was $198 last year. This year...$87!!! We couldn't be happier with our lower monthly, and so excited to know that this bill won't increase like PG&E. Plugging in our electric car is a plus as well, and we know we will have enough power to fuel up on Sunshine, instead of gas. Overall we gave the process 5 Stars, and can't say enough about how happy we are with the results. Thanks, Marta G.

Hi Bruce, thanks for inquiring via Google. Please direct any questions about open positions to our Hiring Team, they should be able to get that dialed in for you. Thanks!

Is there an APP that's associated with Sungrade that tells us how much energy our panels are producing on a daily basis? Other companies have such resources.

Monitoring is mostly a question of what hardware & software the particular inverter or micro-inverter company (like, the actual manufacturers) offer as an ensemble for a system. A good install company will (and should) assist with monitoring (Sungrade does). Every house is a unique fingerprint, and your energy consumption history (including considerations about "future proofing") is its own animal. So that "suite" of options and choices is key. What's designed for your home in terms of target goals for energy *production* (to meet your needs) is critical. Whether or not folks choose us, we hope to educate homeowners so they know the options. Not all monitoring is the same, but for the sake of trivia, most people select their system based not on the minutia of monitoring (they're all fairly similar for the most part) but on the robust-ness of the overal system as a whole. Hope this helps, but we're happy to chat more anytime!
