My family from out of state loves to come stay here when they visit my husband and I in Colorado! We enjoy staying with them as well, as there is a lot to do for all age ranges! The whole family loves the pool area and the side activities that are coordinated. This last trip, my family and I participated in the family mini golf tournament hosted by Andrew (I believe this was his name) and had an absolute blast! Andrew was so friendly and personable, he even hooked our group up with some free drinks and an appetizer from the poolside bar. The food by the pool is better than the restaurants, in my personal opinion. Overall, fantastic place to stay as a family if you aren't trying to go venture out into the mountains and stay in one place.

Very beautiful hotel. There are lots of restaurants within the resort. The hours are very tricky to navigate if you’re there during the week days though. Breakfast is confined to one or two places. The conference center was nice enough. The food was greatly disappointing though, which I believe was catered through the hotel itself. It didn’t taste great and some of the veggies had mold on it when it came out. Very odd and gross. The gym was very packed out with a multitude of different machines and equipment, which would typically be a good thing but when it gets busy in there, the crowded nature of the gym equipment makes it super difficult to navigate between people. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I appreciated the extra pillow and blanket in the room. Overall a nice experience, but this seems like the kind of location you would have a instate family vacation at or something. Definitely not my kind of destination resort.

Great, family-friendly property with something for everyone. Wait times were a bit long for check-in and check-out, hence the 4-star rating. That said, the staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All the families I saw seemed to be having a great time with kids of varying ages. Loved the custom art throughout the property. The sunsets from the front lawn are gorgeous. I only had buffet food at my conference and it was OK. Will visit with my family someday.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We went during Thanksgiving weekend so got to experience their winter themed activities. Positives: -Big resort with plenty of areas to visit -clean rooms -nice staff - nice big pool with water slides -activities (ice skating and water tubing were our favorites) Cons: -pricey. Literally not a single thing is included with your room price other than access to the pool. The room charge in generally isn’t crazy expensive, but you are charged for everything outside of it to include parking. I know it’s not an all inclusive so I wasn’t expecting to pay for or rooms and nothing else but I definitely didn’t expect to spend as much as we did on top of it. Their activities were super cute but also expensive, so if you’re planning a trip during one of the themed periods and have little ones you plan to do activities with just be prepared for all the added expense. -food was not great and expensive as well -not necessarily a con but the place is HUGE so bring your walking shoes. Overall a good place to stay and if you come prepared to spend a little, you’ll have a blast!! I think we’ll be back next year for more fun, we just might head down the street for food instead of eating at the resort.

It has been takibg a hit in recent years. . .as i have subsidized income doing this for two decades now. 15 an hour at small mom and pop caterers is good average with occasional cuts of the tip pool. . . howerver bigger opperations are tighter on tge purse strings. . never worked for manyofthem over the past fewyears as they call in temp agencies and even unsubsidized oncall lists that you willget cut fron the first time you tell them no or cancel. . .its arough business when gigs are so far apart and uncertain to lenftg of booking. . .but its life- and a good captain is worth thier weight in gold
