Stayed here multiple times. Perfect location, clean rooms, decent A/C, lots of parking. They have a shuttle too! Breakfast good, but supplies run low and are slow to replenish.

Steps from the train station yet you don't hear them rumbling by all the time. Plenty of restaurant options nearby. Rental car service 12 minute rideshare away. Digital check in and keys on point and ready when you arrive and possibly way before. Very cool. Clean, comprehensive breakfast. Good options in the shop for honestly almost anything from food to sundries. Like a 24 hour CVS downstairs. Lobby thoughtfully designed so you feel the culture as soon as you arrive. Tremendous staff. Fitness center and laundry clean and often available. Nice outdoor patio for relaxing or breakfast when it's nice out. Two options to enter the parking lot to (obviously access the) property so you can avoid all the traffic while enjoying the benefits of a corner location. Not that it matters but pleasant looking people live next door so it's nice walking out and about; even if you only go a few steps. So accessible to the train station that if I wanted a rail only get away this is the obvious spot. All the others even though they look close you need to look unsightly and lug your bags in front of everyone in the bar/restaurant district. Will make you look so uncool. Oh yeah, of course the rooms are spotless and thoughtfully laid out. Bonus points for the bath gel, lotion *and* mouthwash. I could go on and on even though I only stayed for 2 separate overnights. You can technically just walk in and out and be all business but the staff are all so welcoming and nice.

Edit: The hotel reached out and apologized, they also informed me that the room I was staying in as well as adjacent rooms were treated. BED BUGS BEWARE. I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites by UVA this past weekend (4-9-22) in room 526. I have at least 30 separate bites covering my upper abdomen and arms. Went to the doctor yesterday and she was 100% positive these are bed bug bites. The worst part of this review is that Saturday after noticing the bites I warned the front desk and asked to switch rooms. They told me the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do. The front desk offered to have the manager call me, they never did. Sunday upon checking out I again informed them that I believe there may be an infestation, to which they apologized and said they’d reach out to resolve, again, I never heard from them. I am leaving this review so that others may be spared the itchy nightmare I am currently enduring. If the hotel can prove to me that they have taken the necessary steps to decontaminate the room and check surrounding rooms then I will take the review down. Otherwise, BE WARNED, and do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Very nice facility. As. Always very attentive staff. No makeup magnifying mirror in your bath rm for the senior lady travelers! A must pls. Diana from reservations was absolutely fantastic. Your appear to have a top notch staff! I sincerely hope as management you appreciate them!!!!!!
