Horrible, horrible, horrible! This is the most unprofessional medical office I have ever been to in my entire life. They contacted my mother days before the appointment to confirm her appointment and advised her that they had received the referral from her doctor already. She was all set. On the day of the appt, the rude rude lady at the front yelled at us in front of all the other patients and employees about how it was the patient’s responsibility to verify that referrals were sent prior to their appointment. I tried many times to tell her that a member of her staff had told us the referral was already received, but she wouldn’t let us get a word in edgewise. Just yelling and being very rude. I have never experienced anything like this. As a supervisor at a Magnet hospital, I can assert that this lady needs serious training. She would never work for me. This office needs to get it together. If the front office is this bad, I can only imagine what the rest of the staff is like.

Brace yourselfs for the most inefficient outfit of South Florida. Total time for a colonoscopy was about 8 hours ...7 waiting without a sip of water or nutrients. Talk about total disregard for patients time or wellbeing. Incredible. If you can don't fall for this and request an alternate from your physician.

I have had a terrible experience with Digestive Medicine Associates and would not recommend to anyone. I chose to see Dr. Jeff Gonzalez due to his impressive credentials but was only able to meet with a physician assistant. They scheduled me for an endoscopy but after waiting over an hour in the lobby, I decided to look for a more professional practice. Their staff has poor customer service and could only tell me to be patient or to reschedule.
