Awesome place for friends and family to hang out, play basketball, workout in gym and swim. Pool is extremely nice. Only downside to OCC is that the gym area is a bit small, however it has most major machines/free weights but there is a lack of mirrors, which makes managing workout form difficult at times. Also, the pool hours are finicky due to classes, and swim lessons, but I guess that it a plus for those involved in those classes! There are free dance/yoga classes open to the public which is an awesome added bonus! Everyone is friendly and the place is always extremely clean!

We love the programming at Olathe Community Center. From Olathe Kids Crew to swimming lessons to the little indoor toddler playground, there’s always something going on for the kids. The toddler playground is small but a great stop if you’re there to do other business. Bonus: there’s a library drop box out front.

I absolutely love this place. I just wish it was open at least one hour later. I joined in 2021 and the place is beautiful, clean, and well taken care of. My favorite part about this center compared to Matt Ross is that they don’t let children run around unsupervised while having plenty of child friendly activities. This means fun for adults and children. Like for instance, the hot tub is for 18+ only, children below a certain age can’t use exercise equipment or must have a guardian. Precautions like this make kids safe and adults feel at ease knowing that kids wont be running around the machines.

This is a great park to be outdoors, enjoy nature, birds, trees, flowers, ponds, rocks, and a playground. The Community Center has excellent pool, lazy river, and tree house pool area for little ones. Great family fun.

$8 if you're an Olathe res and not a member.
Not sure....when we were there, we saw basketball/volleyball courts being used
It still said "Out of Order" today (July 5, 2022)
Yes
Yes. The website has the open times of different parts of the pool and classes
You should visit and see. The people at the front desk are nice, and you can see much of the facility from different viewing areas in the lobby. And if they aren't too busy they can walk you around. Don't forget to ask for a schedule of classes. They have dozens of offerings. Also make sure to check out the pool schedule. They have specific times for exercise and lessons and open swim. I think they have a similar schedule for the gyms, but I don't use those. Again, I recommend checking it out. It has pros and cons with other facilities. For me (lap swimming, weights, and walking) and for my kids (swimming when the weather isn't great and passes to all the community pools in the summer) it's a great buy.
no.
Yes. At this point that doesn't help. Sorry. I just saw the request
The pool is open. Weekdays the times are 4am to 6:30pm and on weekends its 10am to 3:30pm.
The community center hours are from 6am-9pm Monday-Friday Saturday& Sunday I bleave they open 8 or 9am to 9pm
Was $100 and included swimming. That was member rate
Please look on the olathe community center website for pricing, but the short answer is yes.

Yes, there are discounts for both day passes and memberships. Be sure to ask staff about it!
8 to 10, you can buy a membership but it's more for non residents
You should be able to use it in the pool. Ask a life guard before getting in the pool
About forty-five a month and I don't know about the age limit.
No membership fee but a fee for center usage
Yes
7 for Olathe residents or 8 for others. Or you can buy punch cards to get a discount if you plan to go at least 10 times. The cost covers everything available to members at the time of your visit. (Members pay extra for use of party rooms, day care, etc) Oh, and mommy and me time at the pool has a special price, I think it is 5 per person and you can have two kids under 5.
I don't know exact temperature but I'm good getting out of them my wife seems a little chilly when she gets out from the different pools. If I was going to rate the temperature I think it's great kids and adults altogether great place to go especially if it's cold outside and you got the winter Blues. But the hot tub could be warmer but I think they have regulations
62 and older and 62 plus 1 the 62 plus 1 is the plan I have. Try it you'll like it.
Normal hours today. Pool open to 8:30pm, Center open until 9.
I believe they have 3 full courts. They have a complicated schedule for when it is an open gym, so you might check that out!
Call the red Cross they did teach CPR
Ask the staff at the front desk.
Or get on their website. It has all the schedules etc.
