my children have been patients of pediatric associates at homestead office for 5 years, I am very grateful for the professionalism and the medical staff and the staff of the front office, the medical assistants and all the members of that office, From the moment you enter, they treat you with love and respect, the doctor of my children is Junco, a wonderful person, like all the doctors in that office, I have no complaints and I recommend this office to anyone who has children.

Please parents if you have an emergency do not waste time calling or going to this place, my daughter was actively having an asthma issue and they turned us away. I recently moved up to homestead but I’ve always went to the Pembroke Pines location and I must say I miss them in pembroke so much this office is horrible!!! When I took my child there during her attack I was told it was lunch time and no dr was available to see her and I should take her to urgent care.as I’m getting the information for the location at urgent care in walks a dr who kept walking regardless of why we were there. Smh this seems to be an issue and I’ll just take my kids to urgent care from now on because you can barely speak to anyone or get a dr’s appointment anyway… I won’t even speak about the fact that when my son received shots and he had a high fever… this place needs to be looked into. too many of the same complaints and this is horrible we have been patients of pediatric associates for years and whenever I needed my children to be seen it was right away but now they have changed that policy ( well homestead) obviously has and it’s horrible…I’ve considered so many times just taking my kids an hour away back to Pembroke to completely avoid this location.

I highly suggest you look for alternatives in your child's health care. My child has been a patient for many years now, and truth be told I was never 100% satisfied, but it was our best choice at one point due to the convenience in location. Now this review isn't about me judging if the doctor's are competent or not, it's about my experience dealing with the office. If you try to call the doctor's office, good luck getting through to someone. You will get sent to their calling service and speak to someone out of country or wherever they are located. The best they can do is send a note to the doctor's office. Which I never once heard back from. The only way to get your questions answered is to go in person and ask, and who has the time for that? The last straw for me was when I had been waiting weeks to hear back from them to set an appoint for my child to be assessed for ADHD after already filling out paper work that they said the doctor would review. Since I did not hear back I called the office, and of course I get their answering service which is of no help to me because they can't answer my questions. Since I know the drill I go in person when I can. The staff I spoke with has no idea why I haven't been called for an appointment apologizes and set's an appointment for me. Staff confirmed the appointment date and time and assured me the doctor will look over the paperwork before I come in for the appointment. So on the day of the appointment I go in for the appointment and guess what? There is no appointment! I can understand having to go in person to get my questions answered, although to be honest this for me is reason enough to look for another pediatric office (which I am in the process of doing. I will be taking care of it much sooner after their mess up with the appointment). What I can't forgive is having them waste my time and my child's time, by having us come in for an appointment that is not in their schedule, even though I went in person to make the appointment.

I went their and they are stating that I did not have insurance back in 2018 however they had no issues seeing me for the last 4 years and today in the am had an appointment for my sons additional vaccine was made wait 30 minutes to get turned away. The manager or supervisor never met their promises and never received a call at all. I am very disappointed on the unprofessionalism and service. Every time you go you have to wait over an hour even if you have an appointment. They violate HIPAA by discussing other patience info. Like seriously they need to have better care and check their employees professionalism. There is only this one lady I do not know her name but she is the best she is patient, professional and tries her best to provide great service she needs to be the sup or manager.
