It's been a 2 month journey so far, and every visit was so, so NICE! I'm excited for the journey ahead with Ava MD. Dr. Liz Olsen is who I have been with. I came to her with an acne problem that I have been battling with for the majority of my adult years, and within two months, with care & support from Dr. Liz, diligence and a bit of patience from my side, I have been able to go out in public in confidence for the first time, in 16-years. No make-up, no stress about scarring or my skin flaring up. This is the first, of many that I have visited, that has listened to my health history and adjusted treatment accordingly, in a non invasive manner. Every single staff that works here, honestly, gives you a sense of welcoming energy the minute you walk through that door. Also, Mimi is wonderful! If I could give Ava Md a 10-star review, I would!

There is no one better then Ava SHAMBAN. When people aske my age they are shocked Ava keeps me looking great. I have friends who fly in for a visit with Ava , she’s worth it. Her office is wonderful , so helpful always with a smile.

I've been seeing KarriAnn at Ava MD for years and I completely trust her and feel heard and respected in her office! Aside from the amazing clinical work she does on my acne and skin conditions, she makes me feel safe and gives me a clear plan. I highly recommend her and have had positive experiences with all of the staff at Ava MD! Scheduling and billing etc are easy and smooth and everyone is kind and helpful. Great environment for healing and self-care!

We have strict protocols currently in place that include cleaning, social distancing, limiting appointment numbers, mask wearing, regular hand washing and sanitizing as well as temperature checks. We also ask that all patients call us upon arrival to be greeted by our staff and escorted into our offices. Air purifiers that can filters the COVID-19 virus have also been installed in each room.

If you have already filled out your patient paperwork, or if you're an established patient, you can arrive 10 minutes befor your appointment. For patients who have not completed their paperwork, we recommend arriving 20 minutes early.

What is the no-show policy?

For same day cancellations or no-shows, our policy is as follows: $100 no-show fee for medical appointments and a $250 or more no-show fee for cosmetic appointments. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, there is no fee if you call 24 hours or more in advance.
