Our family goes here every spring for a weekend, to get away from it all, do some hiking, connect with church family in a lovely and very peaceful setting. It's recovered beautifully from last year's fire and is def worth the visit.

My son goes for Summer Camp. He is in love with all it has to offer. 2nd year now and he comes back full of light and love for the staff, nature, experiences, fun, & friends. But most of all I love it for my son's soul. He comes back with gifts from god. He has a clearer outlook on life and his spirt is full. This place is one with nature. And you get more than you can imagine the longer you stay. If you havn't been to camp crags, I highly recommend visiting. They have events year round on a multitude of subjects. A huge venue and even oppurtunity to stay for a weekend retreat when space is available. Its a must try and the staff become family.

Best camp food ever!! Also great accommodations for a group of any size. They have a hotel style place complete with linens, cabins that sleep 3 to a room you provide sheets and towels with community bath. And cabins with 13 beds to a room and one shared bath. Food is amazing! There is archery, rock climbing, zip line, climbing wall, leap of faith, swimming pool, mountain biking and great hiking.

At this camp they should read the Bible a little more and see what they can and can't eat cause this is supposed to be a Christian camp but instead of learning the good and bad they are singing praise the Lord , monkey monkey ,Tarzan. they should actually read a little more because in the Bible it says you shall not eat of this animal you should not do this and that but they still do it so I'm just putting it out there camp staff please read Leviticus 11:7 and another bad thing about this camp is they don't let kids contact there parents you might just want to send your kids here cause it's cheap but please think AGAIN.

We love our Salvation Army Camp. I wasn't made aware of the fires affecting the Malibu Camp. If any volunteer work could be useful, my son Tobias, and I are more than willing and would be blessed to devote our blood, sweat, and tears into not just the survival of this beautiful and glorious sanctuary, but the strength of its existence. Please contact me if there is any thing we can devote our heart and energy into for the grace of God's Love for his House of worship and all our congregations family.

You can go in the waterslide anyways even if you don’t know how to swim but just hold your nose🙂🙂when you get out of the waterslide you land in the shallow end so if you know how to hold your breath underwater your good to go on the waterslide😀but if you don’t just practice doing it and pinch your nose with your fingers and go underwater if you can do it for at least 3 seconds I think your good🙂just go back up right away though or else you might not be able to hold your breath that long😁btw I’ve been to Gilmore before
