I stopped by Big Tex Trailer World to look at purchasing a 7x16 cargo Trailer for my sand rail. The entire staff was pleasant and easy to work with. They took care of my needs and answered any questions I might of had. The staging crew got my trailer prepped and ready to go with no issues. I will be doing my future purchases with Big Tex.

If u could give negative start I would I purchased a commander series trailer from this company 3 weeks ago and I was told my Francisco that big Tex owns commander trailers after owning the trailer 1 week the tailgate pins that hold the tailgate to the trailer have bent! The hydraulic boom is leaking fluid along with the hydraulic tank the lock on the tool box is not aligned and a pain to open the hardware that holds the leaf springs and shackles were never tightened the deck is already bending! I have only hauled 600lbs in this trailer and it is rated for 10k when u file a claim for warrantee work they have to contact commander trailers and that takes time defiantly the worst build trailer I have owned yet! The right tail light has failed already and the left one works half the time the sealant that they use in the trailer is very poor quality after the first minor rain my trailer was covered in rust if you want a good quality trailer I highly recommend going somewhere else! They informed me that the hardware is not supposed to be tight due to them using locking style nuts but yet only one side of the trailer is loos other side is tight! Got to the landfill and leaked hydraulic fluid everywhere! Very I satisfied and will not purchase another trailer from this location again! This is what commander trailers had to say about warrantee on the trailer Hailey, Thanks for all the information that you provided for these issues. Based on the pictures that was provided for the floor, what is seen in the floor material is waviness. The gauge material used for this model of trailer will at times have a memory from when it was rolled at the steel mill. This material can also expand slightly with increased temperatures that will make the ‘waviness’ more noticeable. At this time, we do not feel the customer caused damage nor what is pictured will cause any long-term failures. The suspension bolts, for this type of suspension – called II Suspension - our specs require thickness of the head of coin between head of bolt and axle hanger. We do not want this fully tighten or it will hinder suspension travel. A crimped lock nut is used on threaded end of bolt. What is shown does not cause a concern. Hydraulic leak: no pictures provided… The tailgate pins: Pins shown in the picture are the correct pins and we see no signs that the tailgate was manufactured incorrectly – we have given thought to how the damage occurred but are unable to simulate how the customer inflicted this damage. If customer can provide additional information on when the damage occurred, we may be able to advise. This pin material is made from hot roll and can be bent back to straight with no loss in integrity. Based on information provided to this point, there is no qualification for warranty.
