They are the worst! I signed up for their 1 year tech support service for 1 year at a cost of $199.99. I needed tech support for a Microsoft Office problem. They said a tech person would log on to my computer in 3 hours. The tech person logged on and did not fix the problem. So I called back and then they said it would be another 3 hours till a tech person could call me again to fix the problem. Well its now over 6 hours and I am still weighting. Poor quality of service and poor service. I feel like I wasted $200 bucks since I spent over nine hours of my time waiting for nothing.

This is probably one of the best retail experiences I have ever had across the board. I bought a brand new computer at this Best Buy 8 months ago and it was nothing but a headache from the first month I got it. I only used it for office work and Skype meetings a few times per week and I ended up having to be on the phone with HP and Microsoft constantly to fix things. No matter how up-to-date the hardware and software was I spent hours on the phone and online with outsourced personnel and virtual assistants as well as troubleshooting forums that didn’t help. Finally I got so frustrated that I walked back in to Best Buy to get some face-to-face help, without an appointment, and when Agent Smith assisted me I felt like I was finally being heard. He listened to the issues I had been having and examined the computer checking into the things I mentioned. I felt listened to and respected and we were able to come to a mutually agreeable solution to my issue. Basically meaning Best Buy took the computer back and I was allowed to find a different one and just paid the price difference which was fine with me. I was just glad to have that machine off my hands. They had no obligation seeing as I was way past their typical return policy but the fact is they went above and beyond and because of that I will always come back here for my technology needs and future purchases. The store is now apple authorized, call in so they can check which model you have.
If you see the menu from the tv then it might be your hdmi connection(main board) check if you can plug something else in to the tv, maybe a different hdmi port and see what happens. But if its less than a year you might be a ble to call sony to have it serviced due to their 1 year warranty. Try calling sony to setup a diagnosis of your tv. Sorry i dont have sony's number though. Geek squad does not typically fix consoles however if you have a protection plan on it they can send it out to be repaired. If you do not have a protection plan you will have to contact the manufacturer.
