My care giver, Virginia, is very helpful. She first started me on Lidocaine patches for my back which made a big difference in my pain level. She helped me get approved for Lumbar Radio frequency Ablation. It is my hope it will help with the pain I experience in my back. I've appreciated the staff and their friendliness and help.

The PA, knowing I am 7+ years detoxed from all opiates, when I had my first appointment to discuss non narcotic options told me, "If you want pain relief, there are opiates" I stood up and began to walk out of the appointment and she back tracked and eventually said she would put through a few referrals (all things I asked for and nothing she offered). When I called the next week to complain about my experience and ask to speak to the Dr she reports to, I never got a response. If you are looking to heal, I would keep looking, but if you are looking to join the Suboxone Army, these are your folks.

I showed up for my first appointment 25 minutes early. When I walked into the building the line for reception was out the door. By the time I got to the front desk there was 10 minutes to my appointment. The lady at the front desk said I was late and I wouldn't be seen. I was really annoyed since I was on time so I reluctantly reschedule. This time I get there way earlier and luckily there wasn't a line out the door to check-in. The lady at the front desk was very rude while checking me in. I almost walked out due to the way she was talking to me. When I was done filling out the paperwork I went to give it back to her and she wouldn't even acknowledge me. The other lady saw and asked me if I was done with the paperwork and that she would take it for me. The lady that ignored me was just sitting there messing with her nails. I get called back and the nurse who checked me in before the doctor arrived was very sweet and professional. It made me feel better that two of the three staff I had interacted with were very nice and professional. That was until the doctor walked in. She told me she was new and she only had a few patients so far. She wasn't very nice or friendly just very matter-of-fact. She was talking to me about treatment plans and had said something that I misunderstood. I asked her a question and she completely freaks out and said she didn't say that she said this. I told her I misheard her but she was incredibly short and very rude after. When the appointment was over she just walked out of the room. No goodbye, see you next visit, nothing. I understand that it must be very hard to deal with patients that have chronic pain. I heard a lady in the next room screaming at her doctor. But there was no reason for my doctor to talk to me or treat me the way she did. I have ptsd and she made me have an attack when she had such an extreme reaction with my question. I started to cry a little. I'm not sure if that also made her attitude change after her outburst but it was very unpleasant and unprofessional. I went to the front desk to checkout and the same lady that was sitting there playing with her nails earlier looks at me and just ignored me. The other lady was on the phone. So I just stood there waiting for her to get done with her call since the other lady seemed to have no intentions of helping me. When she was done with her call. She looks at me then shoots the other lady a look and then smiles at me and asks to schedule my next appointment. I was willing to look past all of this since I know everyone has bad days. But in the end I canceled my next appointment. Even though they're a medical facility they don't require masks or social distancing. Very concerning since I'm sure I'm not the only immune compromised person that has to go there. I'd rather deal with the pain than end up in the hospital for a cold because I got sick from someone in the waiting room or the staff. Overall not the best experience. I'm sure there are better doctors there but I don't feel safe going back.

Heather Boyle is the most kind and understanding doctor I have ever had when dealing with pain management. She listens to what you are dealing with and takes time to work with you to find solutions. The encouragement she gives is beyond priceless to me.
