Closed due to staff shortage. Really would have appreciated a warning online before showing up and seeing the notice posted on the fence.

Great pool for the price and excellent for kids with a large shallow area and fun water features. The temperature is cold though, so really little kids like toddlers can't stay in very long. Bigger kids will like the water slide

It is a safe and clean place to spend the summer days with children, the entrance is low cost, just must wear your swimsuit to enter even if you do not use the pool. Recommended place, your children will love it

Short Review: great place for families. Long Review: know the rules and know that they will not bend or break them for you... liability issues. As of summer 2018 it was $1 for kids $3.50 for adults. No more discounts with a library card. Everyone entering the pool must have swimwear. No white tops and shorts must have inner lining. No jeans/jean shorts, basketball, soccer, leggings... must be swimwear. Babies/Toddlers must wear swim diapers. Anyone under the age of 7 must have an adult within hands distance at all times with a 1 on 1 ratio. That means one adult per child under 7. Hours of operation and opening/closing days vary due to funding. In summer 2018 the pool was open one month longer on weekends only. Do not go by the hours posted on google. Anyone can get on and change the hours with false information. Call their office to get the right information. Do not call the recreation's office as they don't always get the information (2 different departments, Recreation & Aquatics). There is street parking (read the signs) but street cleaning and permit parking limits parking on Thursdays and Fridays. The parking lot can fill up quick with patrons and people who are cheap and don't want to pay $0.50 to park at their gym. There is no shady area or a place to have lunch/picnic in the pool area. Reason is to keep the area as clean as possible and not mess with the filtration system. If you want to have lunch/picnic, there are plenty of areas within the park. Note, summer lunch program uses the picnic area to distribute lunches from 12pm-12:45pm and only kids are allowed in that area. I hope this helps people so they're not surprised when they visit. If you have any questions, call the office when they open summer 2019. It's usually when LAUSD is on summer break. You're looking at early June to mid August.
