I was very intimidated to start therapy. In 2019, my stress & anxiety has surely pushed the envelope to the point where it had taken over a prominent portion of my life. I had never addressed mental health formally, & I was in search for help to accommodate my overall sense of well-being. I reached out to multiple therapists to gauge a right fit, & after hopping off the phone with Erik for an initial phone call, I knew that he was going to be my guy. We had underwent psychotherapy immediately for over a year. Erik provided me with plenty of research & content tailored for my condition, & leveraged cognitive behavioral, humanistic and dynamic psychotherapy to address both immediate & long-term problems that had been persistent in my life. Over time, we unpacked plenty of issues that I would never have been aware of until we had connected. Not only is my overall sense of well-being exponentially better, but I feel incredibly prepared to handle any stressors or heightened states of anxiety in the future. This review doesn't truly speak to the gratitude that I have for undergoing therapy. Erik was understanding, patient, & explained everything in such a way that was easy for my to digest & implement right away. I truly wouldn't have the overall sense of well-being, had I never consulted Erik. Thanks for everything, Erik. I will forever be grateful that you picked up the phone.
