It’s worth noting they have a clause in their contract that puts a 24hr hold on your belongings if you decide to leave early. This includes all valuables ie phone, keys and wallet. I don’t know the legalities of this, but I’ve never experienced such mental anguish in my life that I was pleading for them to just forfeit at least some of my belongings. I was told “just walk home.” Which was just offensive and outright unprofessional. Off the bat, it was just full force accusations of me being a liar and that I don’t know this or that. They even accused me of flying there and not remembering the flight! I live in Los Angeles and I drove there completely sober from a detox. Your mileage may very, but I’d avoid this place like the plague. On a positive note, I am still sober because I never want to experience a place like this again.

Restore Health and Wellness is a great place for recovery. I would recommend restore to any one that is dealing with addiction, the owners and the staff there are amazing and they really care about everyone that comes through their program. One of the best decisions that I have ever made in my life was to go to restore... They taught me that life is not boring being sober by teaching me the proper lessons on how to live happy sober along with many other tools that will help me on a daily basis. As a former employee, I can personally attest to the great quality of care each individual client receives at Restore. The staff are all human beings, no robots. They all chose to work at Restore because they actually really care about the welfare of others. Most are in recovery themselves working a healthy program successfully and they give 110% always. Some are therapist which also give 110% always. From the top of the chain to the newest addition to the team, all employees suit up and show up for one common goal. To help every client who comes through their door. All Clients are treated with respect, dignity, love, compassion & honesty. Some clients come in to make family happy, or to help with their court case or to get kids back etc... Some come there because they know they can’t continue to live the way they are, killing themselves slowly, physically, emotionally & spirituality . Regardless of their reasons for coming to Restore, the one thing in common is they all are hurting inside and need help. Most clients embrace their individual treatment plan and excelled beyond their own expectations regardless of Whether it was drugs, alcohol, self harm, eating disorders or any other underlying issues that brought them to Restore. A few chose the more difficult path by being combative and some of those eventually chose a different route, but the others that were combative in the beginning, with the help of the staff & therapist, soon realized they were only hurting themselves more. Once they allowed themselves to walk through their fears, to get really honest with themselves, then is when the lightbulb in them turned on. It was beautiful to witness them regain dignity, to see hope in their hearts and a true yearning & willingness to live life without the use of alcohol ,drugs, or self harming & no longer feeling hopeless . They also gained a new sense of helping others. For some, this was the first time they had truly embraced their recovery. The road to recovery is on going and each client that completed their programs at Restore were set up with continued care back home with outreach programs, 12 step meetings, therapist or whatever was decided upon between the client and their team. Regardless of which segment of the program you are in while at Restore, you will be taken care of. Your treatment plan will teach you a new design for living beyond Restore. All medical necessities are immediately assessed and taken care of by medical professionals. Give yourself a chance to truly live. Let Restore help you to learn how to live happy & healthy . I just left recently, I don’t believe the reviews are real either. The food was absolutely a problem, I lost upwards of 20lbs in my relatively short stay there. I felt like I was taken hostage.. I don’t think I would recommend restore to anyone. There is a diverse crowd of people there, some for court and others for rehabilitation. I’ll write a more detailed review of my experience, and how I was able to leave with some of my belongings.

Residents of Restore Health and Wellness Center can call home to loved ones on weekends, or while under the supervision of Therapists and Case Managers during the week.
Yes, you are allowed to bring current prescribed medications (no samples). They must be in the original pharmacy bottle which shows prescription information. Medication will be subject to inspection and will be reviewed by the medical director at Restore.
No, the food isn't as bad as people make it sound lol If you're coming expecting to eat 5 star dinners every night, then you'll be disappointed. But if you wanna eat alot better than you were before you came in, then it's pretty damn good. I had no problem getting belongings, just follow the list that's given if you want to have access to it during your stay.

Absolutely! We understand how critical family involvement is in the process. Before we create a treatment plan for an individual, we gather a thorough background from family.
