They ruined all of my fun and gave me my last warning before I even received my first one and who cares I was breaking the rules they yelled at me.

Another beautiful spring ephemerals hike in Wood county. The trails were rustic and you need to pay attention to your footing and be on the lookout for trail markers, but it was natural and beautiful which is just how l hoped to find it. Love the bluffs and boulders. I'm not sure how brushy the trails might become in summer but there were so many flowers. First trilliums were just opening. Lots of Dutchman's breeches and yellow trout lilies and more. The may apples and blood root are also about to bloom as well. Got a nice barred owl serenade. The Potowatami nature trail could use some funding for maintenance of the trail markers, but the booklet is very nice.

Best winter weather day the day we went to spend outside. Conditions were perfect and the hill was great. I didn't realize how many people come and use the hill. Come to the first session if you want less people. The warming house had 2 huge fires going and plenty of space for us to celebrate our grandkids birthdays. It also had one of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen at a count park.

Beautiful place to hike! The trail goes around and even on the bluffs. If combined with other trails in the area, you can make it an all day thing.

It depends. With the warmer temps that seem to be coming if a lot of snow melts there's a slight chance no. However if we get another snowfall or 2 by then they'll probably be open but sometimes even if there is plenty of snow its not very good for skiing if it's going to bro wet packy snow. Tube hills still fun you just may not go as far. Thats my two cents! If you go with decent conditions, youll have a blast. Literally 😉
