I’ve been going to this hotel since it was called the shermalot as a kid. The new ownership really wen above and beyond with all the new changes and remodels it’s absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the cabin this year for our annual family reunion. It was absolutely stunning, the inside was beautiful, even the little things were thought of such as make up removing wipes, little hand soaps. As soon as we arrived we were greeted asked if we needed anything, given extra towels. Whenever we left we were greeted asked how everything was and if we needed anything. The pillows, bed, comforter was so comfy! We loved it very much! The view was absolutely gorgeous! Pictures don’t even do it justice! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Loved our stay at The Lakes Inn. We went up for golf at Sand Valley. Lakes Inn is a short drive right down the road from Sand Valley. It's on a beautiful lake. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds were great. Full size fridge in each room with a grill available outside.

What an amazing place to call your temporary home! Owners are incredibly welcoming. Situated on beautiful Lake Sherwood...they have canoes to rent, on site UTVs you can schedule for guided or unguided tours. Incredible golf courses all within 5 min drive. Walkable to The Lodge where you can hang out with locals and truly get an up north experience. I will definitely be back with my entire family!

This was our annual ladies golf outing. The Lakes Inn is within miles of Lake Arrowhead and Northern Bay Golf Resorts. We were able to check-in early. Our original rooms were on the 2nd level, but they accommodated our request to move to ground level. Rooms are clean and a short walk to Lake Arrowhead to sit by the water to have your morning coffee. A few items I would suggest changing is having a hair dryer available and update the slip strips in the bath tub and add a bar to hang onto when getting in the shower. Highly recommend you check-out this motel for your next stay. They now offer ATV, canoe and boat rentals. See ya next year!!
