Lots of acres and trails to explore. Plenty of deer but herd population is decreasing because of state redevelopment for other kinds of hunts. Place is so different from 10, 15 years ago with great timber and oaks. Deer bedding and food sources are now very scarce. Now just tons of CRP and really bad bedding areas for deer. And no more trees. Used to have great spaces to hunt in or explore and hike about. It's just really thick in a lot of places and hard to hunt or hike. There's really no cover anywhere to hunt or for deer to bed.

Love looking at rocks/agates and this is my favorite spot! Great walking trails, but it's also a great place to just go and get lost a little! Beautiful scenery and wildlife! This time of year though, be careful for flooding!!!!!
