This is my second visit to this location after trying the dreadful one in Orange. Huge selections. I love the "employee's pick" next to the wine. They even have placards that give a little description of what the wine is made from- great for people like me that have no clue what to buy. The store is very clean- there may be some wine bottles that are dusty but that is to be expected. The first time here, many of the staff asked if i needed help. Which I appreciated because I know nothing about wine-but I was just browsing so I said no. A few of the men kept looking but I wasn't suspicious at all. My husband said he was looking at some pretty expensive tequila and the same man kept walking past. He is more suspicious of others than me because he is used to being blatantly discrimated against. For me, I feel like it is more subtle. The second time around, there weren't many employees that walked near me. But when my husband and I met up, one man who looked like the manager kept reappearing. This time we were looking at Whiskey. Both times the cashiers were a bit rude. Again, I am more forgiving than my husband. But the cashiers were also rude in Orange. I haven't decided yet if we are just going to shop at bevmo or give them another chance.
