The long time and advanced members are very welcoming and are there if you need help with techniques and drills. The MMA and BJJ teams boasts a high win rate from ametuare to the UFC, the proof in the pudding that Fight Science is effective at every level of competition. The teams are open to anyone who wants to compete and as long as you show up to train consistently. Whether you just want a good workout, compete, learn practical fighting skills or just hang out Fight Science is an awesome place to train!

Highly recommended! Although I didn't end up becoming a regular due to some life circumstances, the trial week I spent at Fight Science MMA gym was a great experience. The instruction is top notch, as can be deduced by their having multiple professional fighters training out of their gym. Ian is the head instructor there and he is someone who is all about MMA and fighting in general. You would think someone like that would be a bit intimidating, but Ian is the opposite of what you would expect. He is welcoming, friendly, and even seemingly a bit nerdy (in a good way)! Since the gym is named Fight Science, it seems appropriate that the head instructor is more inclined to use not only his massive wealth of experience, but also his precise knowledge of science as it relates to fighting. They have everything one might need to become a professional MMA fighter, or just a butt-kicking hobbyist. Whether you aim to become one or the other, Fight Science is somewhere you can definitely expect to meet your needs.
