Working with the experts at San Diego Kitchen Cabinet Refinishing was a fantastic experience. They were punctual, affordable and very cooperative!

Refinishing is far cheaper than replacing or refacing cabinets. The process to refinish cabinets only requires you remove your cabinet coverings (doors, drawer faces etc.), remove the current varnish or finish, and recoat the same coverings. To replace you will need to completely remove your entire kitchen cabinetry, and replace with brand new. This adds cost both to the labor and the purchase of an entire new kitchen including cabinet frames.
Refinishing is the process of stripping the current finish from your cabinetry and replacing with new stain, varnish, paint etc. Refacing requires an entirely new covering be glued to the framework of your cabinets to match any new doors and draw coverings to give an updated look without the cost of removing and purchasing new framework.
Often kitchen refacing can last as long as 15 - 20 years or more.
